Trip to Blefjell, or better: abasement by weather

First school week was ended and we decided going somewhere. Blefjell - small mountains - it's near so we packed our backpacks to enjoy being in the nature. Food is always important andwe packed more then pessimal amount, traveled about 1,5 hours to reach the start place, where we wanted to sleep first night. It was still raining and we was searching right place to sleep. The tent was big and we decided to stay together although it was tent for 4 people and we were 5. At the end we spent the night in the tent and in the morning traveled back home. Rainstorm and wather everywhere made us scared and abased. On the other side, Tom catched a trout for a first try.. unbelievable. It was very tasty and becouse we decided go home, almost all foot was eaten during that night near the lake Bolkesjø.

Impressive Gaustatoppen

 After first days in the school we have decided to travel somewhere. Mildly separate czech group and Wiki, The German schoolmate, started first bigger trip. The weather was great and "Fanda"(Jiří's car) was reliably going to our aim, which was Gaustatoppen. After some stops to make fotos and swim in the lake we saw him.

 Our way started in Rjukan and than it was uphill, but really steeply. We started on altitude of 300m and on distance 1km we were on 1000m. That's the reason, why our group was devided on two parts. My part walked faster and the second part was enjoyed walking slowly. Maybe my part wanted to abase the top. I think it was a good idea..

Actually the road was worse and worse.. sudennly there were only stones and it was fluctuated up and down and still up and down and we were tired of that so we decided to make a shortcut. Oh, I really don't like stones! We both said "On the top, we will buy a chocolate and tea. It doesn't matter what it costs!"...

After two or three hours of going on this, we were on the top. And it was really perfect.

Our first meetings

School has already started as same as "erasmus group Notodden 2011" is starting get to know inside. First of all we met our countrymen.. It was early morning an sudenly I hear a weird voices.. it was Tomík, Růža and Elis, who came by car and adventurous travel from Czech Republic so we have get acquainted with them and later we did a small trip to Eikeskar, the wiew point over Notodden..

This first week was about parties and meetings, which had diffrent appellations each day, like "social gathering", "new students initation" and so on. And few school meetings providing informations for us, such as "warm-up week".

Acclimatization

Now, I would like to write about our beginning here in Notodden. First of all, it was the travel to Prague to the airport, tears of my lovely fiancee Nika and short fly by our ping dragon with Mirka. Tomas, our czech friend, picked us up and took care about us first days. 

 

We did some expeditions to the city and sorrounding areas, met Dag, and made some muffins from bilberries, which still are nerby our residence. So take a look..

We met real Norwegian ground when we have done our first outdoor experience. Travel seemed to be boring so we decided going offroad. First little taste of adventure!

Expectations

I have decided to share some of my experiences and photos here, where anybody can see it and be delighted.   It's actually my first experience as a blogger so be considerate. My expectations are easy: get know this culture and nature, meet new people, make new expriences and knowledge, alter my ideas and so on.. I'm convinced it'll be nice time here.
